Play is so incredibly powerful. Many of us already know this. We also know the importance of literacy. Many educators can agree that one can be done with the other. Breanna Churchill, the founder of The Brown Bear Book Club joins The Everything ECE Podcast this week to chat all about how to playfully teach the alphabet to children, no flash cards needed.

Breanna Chuchill

Breanna Churchill is the wife of Fabian Churchill. Together they have two
adventurous boys. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood with a
concentration in Child and Family Services. Her professional experience includes
working as a teacher, child care director, tutor, and family/community service worker.
Breanna is now a full-time home educator, preschool Sunday school teacher, author of
timeless books such as My First ABC Transportation Book, Whoosh! It's the Weather
Book for Young Children and The Little Bird Who Wanted to Fly. She is the founder
of The Brown Bear Book Club. The club empowers parents/guardians and educators
with book ideas, activities, tools, and tips for young children.
