Renee August

Rene is the Executive Director of the Montana Association for the Education of Young Children, mtaeyc.  She has been working in early childhood for 25 years anywhere from being an assistant teacher in a head start classroom, a teacher in private childcare programs, and Director.  She graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a dual bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and Elementary Education. She has graduated in 2021 with my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education: Leadership and Advocacy from Erikson Institute. She is a mother of 4 and a wife.  Her family lives in Kalispell, Montana. When  she is not working,  she loves to read and craft.
